Locating the Print Screen Option on QM in SAP ERP

In this article, we will guide you through finding and using the print screen option within Quality Management (QM) module of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system.

Step 1: Accessing Archive Management Initial Screen

To begin with archiving process, first navigate to transaction code STC0 in your SAP ERP system. Once logged into archive management initial screen, you will be presented with various options such as 'Goto' and 'Maintenance'.

Step 2: Searching for Object Name

Next step is searching for the object name which can either be QMCHARACT (for master inspection characteristics) or QMMETHOD (for inspection methods). After entering one of these names in search bar, press enter key to proceed further.

Step 3: Selecting Archive Option

After finding desired result under 'Search Results' section, double-click on it and then select the option called 'Archive' from available options. This will take you to next screen where all your archived objects are listed along with various actions that can be performed upon them like delete or restore.

Step 4: Finding Print Screen Option

In case if print functionality is not visible under 'Object Actions' section, navigate back to previous menu by clicking on 'Back' button at top left corner of current screen. Now click on 'More' dropdown next to 'Goto', then choose 'Maintain Defaults'. In the new window that opens up look for parameter called '/SALV/IF_TET4C_F5' under field name '*DEFAULT_KEY*'. Finally, save changes made by clicking Save button.

Step 5: Configuring Print Destination

After successfully locating print screen option in QM module of SAP ERP system, you need to configure your default printer as destination where all printed documents will be saved. To do this follow these steps:

1. Open transaction code F469 and select 'Printer' under 'Print Options'.

2. Choose the desired printer from list displayed below.

3. Click on OK button at bottom right corner of window.
